It is also the third temple to have existed in this place. Inside, visitors can admire altarpieces and works of religious art of great historical and artistic value, such as a carving of the Virgin Mary of incalculable cultural and heritage value. The Binissalem stone, which is a living stone, limestone, of high quality and durability, has been used in the construction of numerous historic buildings throughout the island. \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe church of Cals Agustins, built in the 19th century, is a beautiful example of religious architecture in Binissalem. This neo-Gothic church, dedicated to the Transfiguration of the Lord, stands out for its sober fa\u00e7ade and austere but elegant interior. It is also part of a complex with an Augustinian convent that played an important role in the spiritual and educational life of the municipality and a traditional winery. It takes its name from the congregation of the Germans Terciaris de Sant Agust\u00ed de Binissalem that was founded in early June 1857. The winery is privately owned. With a modern chronology of between the 16th and 18th centuries with later renovations, this mill of popular architecture was used to grind grain, an essential activity for the local economy. These mills, with their majestic blades, are a reminder of the ingenuity and effort of past generations. \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe Pou Poal is one of the numerous historical communal wells found in Binissalem. These wells were crucial for the municipality's water supply, especially during periods of drought. The Pou Poal, likely medieval in origin, is the only shadoof-type well preserved in Mallorca. It stands as a living testament to the vital importance of water for daily life and agriculture. It comprises the well itself, the mota, the neck, two incomplete pillars, and two monoliths of living stone used until the 18th century to position a seesaw mechanism for water extraction. The complex is also surrounded by a cobblestone paving.
