The cases de possessi\u00f3 of Binissalem are a living testament to the feudal legacy that has defined the history of the municipality since the 13th century. Following the Conquest of 1229, the lands of Binissalem fell under the dominion of various cavalleries (feudal holdings), feudal territories subject to manorial rights and civil jurisdiction. The cavalleria of Morneta, the most extensive of these, stretched from the village to Lloseta and remained the property of the Torrella family from 1282 until the 18th century. Other significant holdings included those of les Dones de Jonqueres, of monastic origin, and the Bau\u00e7ana, which belonged to the Cap\u00edtol de la Seu until the 19th century. These possessions, some of which were granted under emphyteusis, gave rise to the majestic estates known today as possessions. Regarding the Torre de Can Marc, it is worth noting that the ceilings<\/strong> of the house consist of groin vaults with sculptural ornamentation on the keystones, as well as its tafona.<\/p>

Can Maci\u00e0 and Can Pere-Antoni are two constructions resulting from the division of Son Gorra, which have undergone changes due to interventions carried out during the 19th and 20th centuries.<\/p>

In the southern part of the municipality of Binissalem, we also find the possessi\u00f3 house<\/span> of Son Roig, which preserves a traditional entrance, while Sa Cabana d\u2019en Ferrer<\/strong> features an atypical facade and various oenological elements that serve as a reminder that we are in an area of long-standing wine tradition.<\/p>
